The Park Hotel, Sefton

My stay at The Park Hotel had its ups and downs. The place was going through refurbishment, and while the updated reception was appealing, the room left much to be desired in terms of comfort. On the plus side, I enjoyed a great meal in the bar at reasonable prices. However, the uncomfortable mattress and lack of air circulation were significant drawbacks during my visit.

I had a lovely family getaway at the hotel for a New Year's Eve party, and we enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere that was perfect for kids. The service was attentive, and the dining options were satisfactory, although I felt they could have offered a bit more variety for breakfast. The rooms were decent but showed some age, which affected our overall experience. Nonetheless, the location was convenient for our plans, making it a reasonable choice.

The location is a bit far from the city center, and the noise from the street was a downside when trying to get a good night's sleep. Some aspects, like the bathrooms and overall cleanliness, need a serious update.
